Now you know the fundamentals of calories and it’s impact on the weights loss.
How to find the calories and nutrition data of the food items that we eat. It’s very simple. There are many websites out there which provides us the nutritional data of almost all food items under the sun. For eg., http://www.nutritiondata.com/
All we need to do is to refer these websites to assess the calories that we intake and keep our intake within the limit, atleast not more than 1500 calories a day. This way, a daily calorie deficit is created and the weight loss starts to work.
Okay, we started managing the food intake based on the caloric values. Nice, but we also need to make sure the burner inside the body which burns the energy is working at a desired rate. This burning process is called Metabolism. Our environment, lifestyle and food decides the metabolism of an individual. Our goal is to keep the metabolism at a increased rate to burn more calories quickly.
We can do many things to shoot up the metabolism rate without any side effects. Here are some healthy ways to hike up the metabolism.
- Doing exercise till the body is wet by sweat
- Taking hot water at the end of the meal,
- Tea (chai)
- Ginger
- Red pepper(Red Chilli)
Now our body will burn the calories at a higher rate which leads to a healthy weight loss.
Is that all about weight loss? Well the answer is Yes and again a No.
So stay tuned for more on this series.
