Should we be suprised to see that fattie-turned Jenny Craig spokeswoman-no longer, Kirstie Alley has fallen off the bandwagon? (Kind of makes you think she should have stuck with them.)
Afterall, isn’t yo-yo dieting an epidemic? I mean most people that have battled the bulge have lost weight only to gain it back and more. We have seen Oprah herself–the queen of daytime succumb to this tragedy.
Will it happen to Valerie Bertinelli too?
Kirstie was interviewed today by Oprah (we have now seen her three times about her weight on that show) and explained why she could not keep the weight off. She confessed that she did not have the discipline and hadn’t done the work in changing her state of mind. She had much praise for the folks at Jenny Craig but said her decision to part ways from therm had to do with creative differences. She is launching her own weight loss food program and said that “By November I have to look ripped.” After that comment Oprah warned her not to set herself up for public failure again and encouraged her to look the best she can in the time she needs.
Although Kirstie was talking a good game, subconsciously she seemed unconvinced herself.
Oprah didn’t seem convinced either.
