Wagon... what wagon?

well, you knew it had to happen sometime.  I fell of the wagon over the 3 day weekend.  I worked out on Sunday.  That was it.  Nothing on Friday, Saturday or Monday.  On a couple of days, I ate well.  On others, not so much.  That is simply what happens.  The key to falling off the wagon is, what do you do next.  It would be really easy to say it is too hard and stop.  However that won’t help me get to my goal now will it?  Getting depressed about it won’t help either.  So I worked out at home on Tuesday.  Got on the scale and I weighed about the same.  So my falling off the wagon didn’t hurt too much.  Granted, I lost the opportunity to get closer to my goal of 210. However, I don’t think I took too many steps back.

On the positive side, most of my body doesn’t hurt now.  That’s a plus.  Maybe the days off were necessay.

I have progressed more on the Zone reading.  I think I am getting it now.  1/3, 1/3, 1/3 for your meals.   Have them balanced between protein, carbos, and fat (7, 9 and1.5 respectively).  My lunches at work are now salads with some grilled chicken on top.  I don’t get the 3 o’clock food coma, so I think this is the right way to feel.  I need to work on breakast, dinner, and snacks.  All in time.

Until next time

Never, ever give up!
